Dental and health check-up camp for pregnant women
(9th October 2024)
On 9th October 2024 a dental and health check-up camp was organized by Indian Red Cross Society Wani Sub-District Branch in association with Chaitanyam Institute for Human Excellence and Shabdkruti Foundation, Wani for pregnant women at Rural Hospital, Wani. Dr. Resham Shugwani - Dentist and Dr. Shobha Surana – Gynaecologist rendered their services. Total 57 pregnant women benefitted
Dental check-up camp for children
(5th October 2024)
On 5th October 2024 a dental check-up camp was organized for children by Indian Red Cross Society Wani Sub-District Branch in association with Bright Smile Dental Clinic, Wani, Chaitanyam, Mumbai, and Shabdkruti Foundation, Wani at Bal Vidya Mandir, Wani. Dr. Vijay Rathod, Dr. Resham Shugwani, and Dr. Aishwarya Singh of Bright Smile Dental Clinic, Wani rendered their services. Office bearers of Wani Red Cross were present on the occasion. Total 304 students were benefitted
Health check-up camp along with distribution of essential items
(28th September 2024)
On 28th September 2024, a health check-up camp along with distribution of clothes, shoes, nutrition bars, disaster management kits and utensils was organized by IRCS Wani Sub-District Branch at Varpod village, Tehsil Zari-Jamni, Dist. Yavatmal. Total 28 tribal families were benefitted. Dr. Sunilkumar Jumnake - Paediatrician rendered his service. Office bearers of the Wani Red Cross were present on the occasion.
Yoga session for pregnant women
(25th September 2024)
On 25th September 2024 a yoga session was conducted by Indian Red Cross Society Wani Sub-District Branch in association with Chaitanyam, Mumbai and Shabdkruti Foundation, Wani. Mrs. Rashmi Chindaliya conducted session on Yoga. The program was focused on the importance of yoga and meditation during pregnancy. 47 pregnant women benefitted
Counselling program for pregnant women at Rural Hospital, Wani
(11th September 2024)
On 11th September 2024 a counselling program was organized by Indian Red Cross Society, Wani Sub-District Branch in association with Chaitanyam Organisation for 68 pregnant women at Rural Hospital, Wani. Health check-ups and guidance on yoga and nutrition were provided.
Free comprehensive health check-up camp at Sant Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, Ghonsa
(1st September 2024)
On 1st September 2024 on the occasion of birthday of Shri Vijaybabu Chordiya an eminent social activist a free comprehensive health check-up camp (includes BP, diabetes, eye check-up, spectacle distribution and cataract surgery) was organised by Indian Red Cross Society Wani Sub-District Branch in collaboration with Late Parasmalji Chordiya Foundation, Kasturba Hospital, Sevagram and Chordiya Hospital, Wani at Sant Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, Ghonsa. Total around 300 patients benefitted. Also cataract surgery conducted for 100 patients. Office bearers of Wani Red Cross were present on the occasion.
