SEWA PAKHWADA CELEBRATED FROM 17TH SEPT. 2023 TO 2ND OCT 2023

Blood donation drives organised by IRCS Askaran Tarachand Jain Blood Centre, Chopdain various places during the Sewa Pakhwada held from the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-ji on 17th September 2023 to Mahatma Gandhiji’s birthday on 2nd October 2023 also covered the national voluntary blood donation day organised on 1st October 2023 every year. Total 51 units collected.

Visit by students of Bhagini Mandal Nursing college, Chopda

On 5th September 2023 40 students of Bhagini Mandal Nursing college, Chopda visited IRCS Askaran Tarachand Jain Blood Center, Chopda Sub-District Branchto learn the functioning & working of the centre as part of the health education program to motivate them towards blood donation after the age of 18 years.

Basic health education program for students between ages 15 to 25 commences

On 28th August 2023 IRCS Askaran Tarachand Jain Blood Center, Chopda Sub-District Branch have commenced an on-going basis health education program for students between ages 15 to 25 years to motivate them towards blood donation after the age of 18 years.

Doctor's Day celebrated on 1st July 2023

On 1st July 2023 on the occasion of Doctor’s Day a blood donation camp was organised by IRCS Chopda Sub-District Branch in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Chopda. IMA President & Secretary also donated blood on this occasion. Also a blood donation camp was organised in association with General Practitioners Association, Chopda on 2nd July 2023. Total 25 units collected.

World Red Cross Day celebrated on 8th May, 2023

On 8th May 2023 on the occasion of World Red Cross Day IRCS Chopda Sub-District Branch observed World Thalassemia Day by organising blood donation camp at IRCS Askaran Tarachand Jain Blood Centre, Chopda
