Standard Chartered Bank’s Contribution in J & K flood relief

Standard Chartered Bank had also partnered with the Indian Red Cross Society in supporting the provision of large Water Purification Units (WPUs) with the capacity to produce 3,000 litres of drinking water per hour, which would make safe drinking water available to those who were affected by the floods in Jammu & Kashmir among other initiatives.

A cheque amount of Rs1,00,33,000( Rupees One crore thirty three thousand rupees only ) was handed over by Mr. S. S. Mundra, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India & Mr. Sunil Kaushal, Regional Chief Executive, India & South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank for the same.
